Daily/Class/Homework........25% A - 90 - 100
Projects & Essays...............25% B - 80 - 89
Quizes.................................20% C - 70 - 79
Test ....................................30% D - 60 - 69
F - 0 - 59
Powerschool:
*Grades can be viewed by the student and parents through powerschool.
Explanation of various assignment categories:
*Red bulls - are meant to boost student learning and grades through warm ups. They are 5 warm up grades averaged into 1 daily grade.
Ch. Bank:
*There are 13 units for the 8th grade SS pacing guide
and with each unit we will accumulate various assignments, notes, and learning activities that will become a (Ch. bank). This becomes a hands-on study guide for the respective unit test. Like the Red Bulls, Ch. Banks are 1 grade averaged among a certain amount of assignments.
